“My experience is that the most fulfilling life is one spent in service to one’s family and community.”
Mayor Stefan Densmore was elected Mayor for the Village of Golf Manor in 2019, having served on the village council since 2015, in various capacities, including Chair of the Executive Committee and Vice Mayor. He has lived in the Village of Golf Manor for 13 years, and in the Cincinnati area for over 50 years, attending Sycamore Highschool, Indiana University, and the University of Cincinnati. Stefan has a background in Psychology, and a Master’s of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership.
In 2015 Mayor Densmore launched a Cincinnati Social Service Newsfeed & Podcast to help individuals and families in need connect to local, state, and federal resources. The newsfeed covers weekly changes in availability and application protocols for various social services, with audio available in English and Spanish. Partnered with the United Way, the online edition also has a searchable resource library of application forms and agency contact information helpful for those in need and those wishing to connect loved ones to services. The Mayor’s commitment to making the social safety net more user-friendly is exemplified in this project and the causes to which he aligns himself.
In addition to his civic projects, Stefan coaches little league soccer, and hosts a Star Wars blog with his kids. Mayor Densmore and his wife Heidi have six young children and attend the Church of the Resurrection in Bond Hill, as well as Clifton United Methodist Church.
